Please bring four copies of the completed registration form along with a COPY of your daughter’s birth certificate (for us to keep) when you register. Pizza Chalet is located at 461 S. Citrus Ave., Covina, CA 91723.

Your registration fees include: jersey, socks, picture package, umpire fees, field permits, ASA registration, player insurance, supplies and equipment. There are three mandatory fundraisers a Hit-a-Thon and Pancake Breakfast, the monies should be raised by donations from family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. The Goodwill Fundraiser will be four 55-gallon bags (clothing, shoes, books, etc. http://www.goodwillnwnc.org/accepted-items/)

It’s time to play Covina Hills Fastpitch!

2016 Board of Directors

The Covina Hills Fastpitch Board is currently looking to fill several positions on its board that continue to remain vacant. If you are interested in being a part of the Covina Hills Fastpitch Board, please contact league President, Beatriz Rivas at (626) 367-4518. The positions that remain open are: Treasurer, Fundraising Coordinator and Player Agent.

Managers and Coaches Needed

Coaching a team is a very rewarding way to spend time with your child, share your knowledge of softball and contribute to the community.

A Manager takes responsibility for a team, including drafting the players and acting as the “Head Coach.” Assistant Coaches are chosen by the Team Manager after the team is drafted.  The Head Coach organizes, instructs, trains and leads softball players. The Head Coach holds practices, and is responsible for any equipment and supplies. He or she uses their knowledge of softball to determine the type of exercises, drills and
techniques to teach and practice. Coaches Manager 1evaluate athletes and opposing teams to devise a competitive game strategy. The Head Coach manages the team during a game and makes decisions to optimize the team’s chance to win and motivates players athletes to play hard.

6U Registration

6U Managers and Parents – If you’re interested in your daughter playing with her friends, you can form a 6U team of friends, family and classmates. A coach can put together a team of players from his daughter’s school, church, neighborhood, etc. This will be considered a pre-formed team. You’ll need 10-11 players who are 4-6 years old as of December 31, 2015.

A great introduction to team sports and the game of softball. Practices and games may start between 4:30 – 5:30pm on weekdays and Saturday mornings. Teams are kept small to ensure that each girl is actively involved while practicing batting or fielding. The emphasis is on fun, safety, and learning to develop team spirit with new friends. Parents enjoy socializing while watching their children have fun learning to play softball
